We offer two different waterfall hikes, each with its own character. Availability depends on various factors, including weather conditions.

Waterfall Tour 1 – Small Hidden Waterfall

Leaving around 9am in the morning, this guided hike takes you to the top of our finca at around 1440masl and then to a nice small hidden waterfall which can only be accessed by us. It involves around 3-4 hours walking (round trip). You can get wet in the waterfall if you like 😉 but swimming is not possible. Chances are high that you will see howler monkeys. Once back in the finca we provide lunch and you also get a package of Sintropia´s organic coffee. Minimum is 2 person.

Waterfall Tour 2 – Swimming Waterfall

This hike leads to a larger waterfall with a natural pool perfect for swimming. The trail winds through wild cacao trees, with a short rest at an old finca along the way. Total duration is approximately 5 hours. Back at the finca, we provide lunch and a 250gr package of Sintropia’s organic coffee to take home. Minimum 2 person.

It’s a more demanding route, with around 600 meters of elevation gain on the way back — depending on the sun, the return can be quite strenuous. This tour is only suitable for persons who are in a physically fit condition.
