How to get to Sintropia
To get to Sintropia you first need to go to the village of Minca and from there go up to Sintropia.
1) To Minca Village

There is a Collectivo (MiniVan) in Minca, which runs daily between 7am and 5pm between Minca Village and Santa Marta (Mercado Area). They leave whenever they are full and charge 10.000 COP.
On the way down, they can also drop you off at Mamatoco Roundabout, where you can catch another mean of transportation (i.e. a bus) to the east or west. If you want to travel eastwards to Tayrona or various beaches such as Guachaca, Burritaca, Los Naranjos, Palomino etc., you can simply take one of the small buses that run regularly.
2) From Minca Village to Sintropia
Sintropia is apr. 4km above the village of Minca, above the well-known hotel “Mundo Nuevo”.
option1: walking
From the village of Minca it is an approximately 75–90 minute walk with around 600 meters of elevation gain, partly steep, through nice landscapes (can be strenuous, not recommended if you have heavy luggage)
option2: mototaxi
Alternatively you can grab a mototaxi from anywhere in Minca, they will charge you 30.000 COP and it takes around 15 minutes.

option3: car (4×4)
A 4×4 jeep with driver can bring you up. This costs 100.000 COP per car with Willinton (4 people) and you can hop on in Minca. This is Willinton´s whatsapp: +57 314 3650046). You can share it with other guests too …
From the property entrance, it’s about a 10-12-minute walk to the reception, with some uphill sections. If walking is not something you enjoy or feel comfortable with, please keep in mind that our location might not be the best fit. We’re happy to assist you with your luggage..
If you come with your own car, please be aware that it is not possible to come with a regular car, which has no 4-wheel-drive and a certain ground clearance! If you need to leave your car in Minca Village, there is a safe public parking next to the Panaderia La Miga (Google Maps Position).
